Parish Council procedure – 15th October 2018.
If you are attending a meeting of the parish council intending to speak, there are one or two things to note.
The Notice of the Neighbourhood Panning Referendum for the electoral area in the parish of Hilperton is issued. 27th September 2018.
The notice identifies the referendum question and details the poll date and voting information.

The audit of accounts for Hilperton Parish Council for the year ended 31st March, 2018, has been concluded, The Announcement Document dated 26th September 2018 may be downloaded here.
The Hilperton Neighbourhood Development Plan referendum is to be held on 1st November 2018.
Documents relating to the Referendum have been released. Links to these are available in the full news article. These are the Hilperton Neighbourhood Development Plan Information Statement and the Statutory Information Statement.
The referendum on the plan will be held on the 1st November. Hard copies of the plan are at Hilperton School, Marsh Road Store, and the Lion & Fiddle.

At its February meeting, the parish council co-opted a new councillor to fill the casual vacancy.
Congratulations to Danny Swift from Hilperton Marsh and many thanks to everyone else who expressed an interest in the vacancy.
At its February meeting, the parish council intends to co-opt a new councillor to fill the casual vacancy which occurred when Cllr. Jameson moved out of the area.
Anyone interested is requested to contact the clerk, or any member of the council, for further information.
The parish council would particularly like to hear from residents of the Hilperton Marsh or Paxcroft Mead areas of the parish as these areas are currently under-represented on the PC.
