If you would like to contact Strategic Planning please email strategicplanning@wiltshire.gov.uk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wiltshire Council has commenced a Scoping Consultation on the preparation of the new Wiltshire Local Plan. The consultation starts&nbsp;<strong>on 2 September 2026<\/strong>&nbsp;and closes at&nbsp;<strong>23:59 on 30 September 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is the first formal stage in preparing the new Wiltshire Local Plan and provides communities, businesses, organisations and other stakeholders with an early opportunity to help shape its development. We are inviting views on six questions under the following topics:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>What the Wiltshire Local Plan should contain; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How the Council should engage with communities and stakeholders during the preparation of the Plan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The main consultation document, the Wiltshire Local Plan Scoping Document, sets out the specific questions that we are asking. Supporting documents, including the Wiltshire Baseline Survey of Area (2026-2045) report and Draft Wiltshire Local Plan Engagement Strategy, are also available to review.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Consultation documents, the notice of scoping consultation and details of how to respond can be accessed via the Council&#8217;s consultation webpage:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wiltshire.gov.uk\/wiltshire-local-plan-scoping-consultation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Scoping consultation webpage<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Representations must be submitted by&nbsp;<strong>23:59 on 30 September 2026<\/strong>.
